1. Services Overview
1.1 Project-Based Services
Stelx Digital provides one-time, project-based web design and development services. Scope, deliverables, and price are agreed in writing before any project starts, following a free discovery call.
Current packages:
Starter — from £997 total: up to 5 pages, mobile-responsive design, contact form & analytics setup, basic on-page SEO, 1–2 revision rounds
Growth — from £1,400 total: up to 8 pages, conversion-focused layout & messaging, lead capture & booking integration, email marketing integration, 2–3 revision rounds plus 30 days of post-launch support
Custom scopes outside these packages are quoted individually.
2. Service Terms
50% deposit required to commence work
Final payment due before final files or the live site are handed over
Project timeline begins upon receipt of deposit and all required materials from the client
Split payment plans available on request
Rush fees may apply for expedited timelines
3. Scope of Work
3.1 Included Services
Framer website development
WordPress website development
Landing page design
E-commerce website builds
Brand and visual identity design
UX/UI design
Basic on-page SEO setup
Contact form, booking, and analytics integration
3.2 Excluded Services
Copywriting
Photography
Video production
3D rendering
Native app development
Paid advertising management
Ongoing hosting, maintenance, or content updates after the support period ends (available separately on request)
4. Client Responsibilities
4.1 Required Materials
Brand guidelines (if existing)
Content and copy
High-resolution images
Project brief and requirements
Timely feedback and approvals
4.2 Communication
Single point of contact for project decisions
Response within 3 business days for feedback requests
Clear articulation of revision requests
Availability for scheduled calls
5. Intellectual Property
Client receives full ownership of final deliverables upon full payment
Designer retains rights to preliminary concepts not chosen
Designer maintains portfolio rights to showcase completed work, unless the client requests otherwise in writing
Client is responsible for confirming they hold rights to any trademarks, logos, or content they supply
Stock photos, licensed fonts, and third-party plugins remain subject to their original licence terms
5.2 Source Files
Final website files delivered on the agreed platform (Framer or WordPress)
Working/design source files (e.g. Figma) available on request, may incur an additional fee
6. Revisions and Amendments
Number of revision rounds is set by the package (1–2 for Starter, 2–3 for Growth)
A "round" means one consolidated set of change requests reviewed together
Revisions must be requested within 14 days of delivery
Major direction changes or scope additions are billed as new work, quoted separately
Additional revision rounds beyond those included are billed at an hourly or fixed rate, agreed in advance
7. Termination
Either party may terminate with written notice if the other materially breaches these terms
Kill fee of 25% of total project value applies if the client terminates before project completion
All work completed and paid for becomes the client's property
Deposit is non-refundable once work has begun
Any outstanding work-in-progress fees are invoiced at termination
8. Payment Terms
50% deposit due upon agreement, before work begins
Remaining 50% due before final delivery or launch
Split payment plans available on request
Late payments may pause active work until the balance is settled
Payment methods and currency confirmed at proposal stage
9. Confidentiality
Client business and project information is kept confidential and used solely to deliver the agreed work
Materials are stored securely
Project details are kept private unless the client authorises their use (e.g. in a case study)
Confidentiality obligations continue after project completion
10. Limitation of Liability
Maximum liability is limited to the total fees paid for the project
No responsibility for third-party platforms, hosting providers, or plugins
No guarantee of specific business results (e.g. enquiries, sales, or search rankings)
Force majeure clause applies for circumstances beyond reasonable control
11. Dispute Resolution
Good faith negotiation is the first step in resolving any dispute
Mediation is pursued before litigation where possible
Jurisdiction: England and Wales
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, where applicable
12. Modifications
These terms may be updated with 30 days' notice
Clients with active projects are notified by email of material changes
Continued engagement after notice constitutes acceptance
Special terms for a specific project require separate written agreement
